The Good N’ Plenty Blog reports the matchups:
North Regional at Purdue – Purdue vs. Eastern Michigan; Georgia vs. Loyola (Ill.)
West Regional at Arizona – Arizona vs. Florida Atlantic; Santa Clara vs. UAB
South Regional at Oklahoma vs. Mississippi Valley State; Davidson vs. James Madison
East Regional at Boston College – BC vs. Loyola (Md.); St. John’s vs. Cornell
St. John’s is the 8th seed in the field, Cornell the 9th seed. Bracket here (embedded PDF). The host teams get televised; St. John’s and Cornell sounds like it’s radio-only. I might have to skip the DePaul/ University of Albany matchup on November 17th and listen in.
Nice, Oklahoma and Purdue would be a great early season showdown.
Go Eagles!
The Boilermakers played some tough competition in Australia, it seems; maybe that will help them contend with Blake Griffin.
Are the BC Eagles going to be any good??
Tyrese Rice is pretty good, but that team is going nowhere…
I was referencing the Eastern Michigan Eagles
UGA, the #6 seed will upset Purdue !! UGA will shock the world when they win the entire tournament !!
